Cheating?

This might technically be considered cheating, but this is my favorite storyboard frame I've ever done. Not only did I get to draw a man rappelling from a zip line, but he's holding a case of beer and his collar is oh so popped. Sorry for the semi-rant yesterday, I was just dissappointed in my fellow classmates and had to holler. Anyway, thanks for stopping in and have a cool day!

Drawing Because I Was Mad

I drew this yesterday night while sitting in my Animation 1 class stewing over the fact that there were a bunch of people who aren't in my class being loud and dumb. On top of that there are these two girls who only talk about drugs and sex. By no means am I a prude, but darnit, that makes me uncomfortable. So in response I drew a dumb sketch and listened to the Lawrence Arms album "Cocktails and Dreams" to ignore people. Sorry to vent, have a cool night!

Big Post Because I Was Lazy And Didn't Upload All Weekend

Girls love it when you pick your nose... ain't that right laddddieeees? (seriously though, I never pick my nose... in public) Anyway, I started this off by trying to draw a purdy lady and than decided to make it stupid and funny. That tends to be how I create most of my illustrations. "Is it stupid?", I ask myself, "Yes, therefore it is funny". Thanks for stopping by!

I think what ended up not helping was the fact that I don't really like either of these sketches, but that tends to happen on the weekends. I just get fried and can't come up with anything stupid/interesting enough to draw... c'est la vie.

Two dumb sketches, one day

Again, I posted the yesterday's drawing today because yesterday I was without scanner. Anyways, today's is about a man with a headache. He should probably see a doctor, that doesn't look healthy.

Also, today is the two week anniversary of Loose Leaf Sheets! This is the longest I've ever been able to do something like this without getting lazy and giving up. I know that right now there's only a few of you, but I really appreciate you guys commenting and following. It means so much to me and your constant support and jokes have helped me keep this going. Hungry

I wasn't hungry when I drew this nor do I condone eating babies. Per the usual I just started drawing and ended up at a bizarre conclusion. Also, sorry for the late update on this one. I drew it yesterday, but didn't have a scanner to use at the time, so I opted for a late update. Thanks for popping in today though.

I've thought about doing a drawing similar to this for a couple of days now, mainly because I've been having a lot of trouble falling asleep lately and I think it's been making my brain all goofy. For example, last night, I went to bed at 2 am because I wasn't tired, then read a chapter from the Grapes of Wrath and then proceeded to lay awake for an extra two hours... but it's okay, I'm not complaining. I'm somehow still functioning, so that's good. Anyway, have a great day and hopefully I'll be sleeping like a baby tonight.

Donuts and stuff?

Welp, I never want a scone again

So have you ever looked into what you have eaten before and had crazy thoughts about spider's eggs being inside of it? Well, yesterday while I was eating a scone I peered inside and saw those weird air pockets that you often see in baked goods and wondered to myself, "What if this was FILLED with thousands of spider's eggs?". So I finished my scone anyway and proceeded to draw this. The gentleman just made it funnier in my opinion.

Day 1 - I like music, primarily the type that most people don't like. This sketch has to do with that.

The First Post

So, seeing as I do this with pretty much every blog I have, I'll start this one the same with a couple introductory paragraphs and since I believe every good essay starts with a strong thesis, I suppose I should include that as well: This blog is dedicated to getting me to draw more, that is it. It isn't so I can show off my prettiest works or so I can try and spew some inane drivel at the internet. It is purely to get me to draw more, primarily with ink brushes and pens, in order to get better and inspire myself. I'm going to be primarily using loose sheets of paper I have from a couple reams that aren't being used for anything else and any other loose sheets of paper I find around (hence the name of the blog). I'm also going to be trying to post every day. I know, I know, that seems to be what all the cool kids are doing now, and heck, I've tried to do it in the past and have given up, but nevertheless I'm gonna do it this time, dangit! Most of these drawings are going to be from warm-ups I do in the morning, right when I wake up, but some of 'em might just be cool sketches I did during the day. It shouldn't be impossible, but we'll see! Thanks for reading and please stick around, there should be some cool things coming!
